Shih Hsin University, in order to promote academic achievement, has established the \u201cOutstanding Research Achievement Awards,\u201d where every year special prizes and research funds are granted to the faculty members that achieve outstanding research results. The awards are based on faculty members\u2019research projects, papers presented, and published works.? Besides, \u201cAcademic Journals Submission Funds\u201d are also available for faculty members. This aims to encourage all faculty members to submit papers to academic journals; a faculty member may apply for the submission fee reimbursement within a year of submission.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

All faculty members from the College of Management have been heavily involved with different types of research projects through the National Science Council. The total approved projects are: 25 projects in 2003, 23projects in 2004, and 26 projects in 2005. Besides, Shih Hsin University had also funded special academia research projects for teachers, where 11 projects in 2003, 11 projects in 2004, and 12 projects in 2005. Moreover, the students also have been involved with different types of research projects through the National Science Council. The total approved projects are: 15 projects in 2002, 13 projects in 2003, 5 projects in 2004, and 14 projects in 2005. In addition, an integrated research project is also currently in the process of approval. Also, many institutions have requested the College of Management to perform a specific research project on their behalf; these include: APEC, Industrial Technology Research Institute, Institute of Information Industry, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Education, Department of Health, Ministry of Interior, Corporation of Taiwan Power, and many more.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
